Of interest is the address 2949 Emerald. This address is just a half a block away from where John lived with the Filipek's at 2956 Emerald in the early 1900s. This was the location of the Filipek's 1st grocery store. Thus John Sokolik married a girl from the neighborhood. They may have known each other for years. The above tombstone transcriptions were provided in January 2001 by John Leonard, husband of Virginia Leonard, nee Sokolik.	Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery is located at 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181. Son Frank T. Sokolik was cremated about 1991 and his wife distributed his ashes at his favorite location in the Morton Arboretum which is located in the western suburbs of Chicago.
