| Above is a postcard photo of Joseph Sokolik at French Lick Springs, a resort in southern Indiana near Louisville with golf and mineral water. The third man from the viewer's left is J.K. Sokolik. Someone had written Joseph Sokolik but that is in error as there is no Joseph Sokolik in the family. Help is needed in identifying the additional men and women in this photo. J.K. Sokolik was born in 1876 and appears to be 30-40 years old, suggest a photo date of 1905-1915. |
There are three golf bags and it appears the three men on the left have been playing golf. The man on the left has on knickers and golf spikes. There appear to be a couple of woods and a couple of irons in the bags, pretty limited by today's standards. Mary Fritz, a g-granddaughter of Frank and Anna Sokolik provided a copy of this postcard to Dave Jordan in 2005.
