Vaclav Filipek's Ticket Collection

As follows are a number of old railroad tickets that Vaclav Filipek kept in his Journal from the Agronomic School in Hracholuskach, Bohemia. That journal began September 26, 1884. Some tickets have Vaclav's name, others have other Filipek names and one has his father-in-laws name. These tickets could be souvenirs for his and relatives journeys during those years. Some may have to do with his transportation to school in Hracholuskach from either home in Kolence or his wife's parents home in Lomnice. Hracholuskach is about 40 miles to the west of Lomnice. The dates stamps clarify that he was in Bohemia from May 1884 until October 1886.

Some translation and interpretation is offered. If you would like to comment or add any information about this picture, please contact Terry or Dave.
