**Vaclav Filipek's Ticket Collection**
As follows are a number of old railroad tickets that Vaclav Filipek kept in his Journal from the Agronomic School in Hracholuskach, Bohemia. That journal began September 26, 1884. Some tickets have Vaclav's name, others have other Filipek names and one has his father-in-laws name. These tickets could be souvenirs for his and relatives journeys during those years. Some may have to do with his transportation to school in Hracholuskach from either home in Kolence or his wife's parents home in Lomnice. Hracholuskach is about 40 miles to the west of Lomnice. The dates stamps clarify that he was in Bohemia from May 1884 until October 1886. Some translation and interpretation is offered. **25 May 1884 Stamped Ticket at Roundnice**
Ticket Language: German and Czech Unfgabe Schein/List Podavaci (list or ticket) an/adresa (probably name): O. R. okr. hytm, this should be someones name in/v (to): .Trebon Gebubr/Porto: Cost: 20 fr.	The Stamp: 25 May 1884 at Raudnitz/Roundnice a city [not sure where this is at the moment] that is thought to be the origin of the trip on the basis that the originating station has a stamp for their location and then writes in the destination. Final Script looks something like: Pchroten. The Picture Reference Number is DJA43.

**10 October 1884 Stamped Ticket at Lomnice**
Ticket Language: German and Czech Unfgabe Schein/List Podavaci (list or ticket) an/adresa (probably name): Vaclav Filipek in/v (to): somewhere like "Bondmier" Vplaceno v hotovosti: 20fr Unweifungs-Gebiibr in Marten: 10fr	The written year appears to be 1884 The Stamp: 10 October 1884 at Lomnitz Wittengau/Lomnice Trebon is a city near Kolence where the Filipek's lived. It is difficult to read the month, it may be other than October. The Picture Reference Number is DJA44.

**14 February 1886 Stamped Ticket at Lomnice**
This ticket appears to be the same form as the 10 October 1884 ticket. Ticket Language: German and Czech Unfgabe Schein/List Podavaci (list or ticket) an/adresa (probably name): Alzbeta (Elizabeth) Hugel (spelling) in/v (to): somewher like "Hootirenic" Vplaceno v hotovosti: 5fr Unweifungs-Gebiibr in Marten: 1fr	The written year appears to be 1886 The Stamp: 14 February 1886 at Lomnitz Wittengau/Lomnice Trebon is a city near Kolence where the Filipek's lived. It is difficult to read the month, it may be other than February. The Picture Reference Number is DJA45.

**26 September 1886 Stamped Ticket at Platz/Straz**
Ticket Language: German and Czech Unfgabe Schein/List Podavaci (list or ticket) an/adresa (probably name): Frank Filipek in/v (to): Louny (Louny, Lounech probably all the same, not yet located), Louny is where James F. Filipek, son of Frank was born. Gebubr/Porto: Cost:	The Stamp: 26 September 1886 at Platz/Straz Final Script: 26/9 (26 September) The Picture Reference Number is DJA46.

**6 October 1886 Stamped Ticket at Lomnice**

Filipek (probably Vaclav's brother). in/v (to): Lounech (Louny, Lounech probably all the same, not yet located) Gebubr/Porto: Cost: 15 fr. **17 October 1886 Stamped Ticket at Platz/Straz**

**Undated Martin Nemec Ticket for Lomnice**
Ticket for: Martin Nemec: Martin was Vaclav Filipek's father-in-law. in/v (to): Helickeho; not sure where this is. Lomnice u Trebon; this is where Martin Nemec lived.	The Picture Reference Number is DJA49.
