Death Record Comments
  • This record was obtained from the General Register Office, St. Catherine's House on March 16, 1979.
  • The various Scholdberg children appear to be named after various grandparents, uncles and aunts. Charles was probably named after his mother's brother, Charles Steward, but also perhaps after his grandfather Carl Johan Scholdberg. The Edward is also an interesting clue. See The Jordan Story: Passing on a Name.
  • It is unknown where Kent Cottage is in Poplar. It is presumed the Scholdberg's lived there but it is possible Elizabeth took Charles there for care and she stayed with him.
