**Marriage Application Comments**
The application uses Pajewski, but he signed it Pajewsky. The 4854 Laflin Street address is the same as John's brother Frank. He was probably staying with him at the time of his marriage. Anna used the spelling Ganowsky for this Cook County record but Gainowski for her the St. Augustine marriage record.	John's age of 28 conforms to his designated birth of January 1, 1865. Anna's age of 21 suggests a year of birth of December 3, 1871.

**Marriage Certificate Comments**
It's interesting to note that the name Pajewski is followed by (Page) in the Certificate Record. In the original register, it was found that this was in the index column. Thus it appears the name Page was written later above Pajewski in a different handwriting, probably as a result of the formal name change in 1926.	The Latin Marriage Register Book shows the parents of John Pajewski and Anna Gainowski. John Pajewski's brother, Michael married Helen Pastwa. Michael Pastwa is a cousin of Helen. Julia Gainowski is a sister of Anna. Michael Pastwa and Julia Gainowski married 20 September 1898.

**Death Record Comments**
The 1910 Census and his 1893 Marriage License Application support a year of birth of 1865 for John Page, not 1864. Thus he was most likely 86 at the time of his death given that earlier records tend to be more accurate on age.

**Obituary Comments**
John Page died on February 4, 1951. The obituary indicates the married names of her living sisters.	It appears that her brother Jacob had his surname changed to Schmidt. There was an identical copy of the obituary on April 12, 1950 on Page 52 of the Chicago Daily News.

Date shown are burial dates. However, Joseph's actual date of burial was January 10, 1909. There is a picture of Joseph and Rosa Gainoski's headstone in the Gainowski Picture Collection.	Mary Lynch is Joseph and Rosa Gainowski's daughter. According to the 1900 Census, she was born 1884 in Germany. Mary died at age 54. Lillian E. Rose is Joseph and Rosa Gainowski's daughter. According to the 1900 Census, she was born in March 1888 in Illinois. Lillian was called Helena at birth. Lillian died at age 82.

The above is a transcription of the PAGE Tombstone at St. Mary Cemetery.	The year 1865 for John's year of birth is consistent with other earlier data. See information above. It is thought that Anna's year of birth was 1871. See information above.

**Last Will and Testament and Distribution of Estate Search**
A request was made on November 17, 1976 of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Probate Division for Cook County, Illinois to search for the last will and testament, distribution of estate and inventory list for John Page who died on February 4, 1951.	The response was "We are unable to find any record of probate on the estate of the person named herein, in the Probate Court of Cook County, Illinois. They wrote "1948-1953, No Est (Estate), No Will".
