This is a photo of the former Cocksdorp home of Matthijs and Trijntje van der Kloot. The home is described in Alette Schodrof's “Cocksdorp, Home of the Vanderkloots”. The address is 47 Kikkertstraat, Cocksdorp. The original blacksmith shop is thought to be to the left of the door, and the home to the right of the door. See also “The Former Vanderkloot’s Blacksmith Shop (Circa 1950s or 60s)” photo that was taken many years before.

Although difficult to see, there is a small "47" to the left of the door. In front, there are two short, wide trees. Ivy is growing up the front of the house, and there is a wooden bucket hanging on the house to the left of the door. Upstairs, there are dormers. The front door and windows are modern.

Ben Strand, a 2x great-grandson of Matthijs and Trijntje Vanderkloot, took this photo in 1996. If you would like to add information about this picture, please contact Dave Jordan, a 2x great-grandson of Matthijs and Trijntje Vanderkloot. The Picture Reference Number is DJB05.
