Welcome to Our Pajewski/Page Family web pages!

The focus of Our Pajewski/Page Family web pages is the genealogy and history of Paul and Anna Pajewski of West Prussia, their children, and their children's children. The family name Pajewski is pronounced as Payefskee.

At the head of our clan is Paul Pajewski, born about 1825 in West Prussia. He was the second husband of Elizabeth Drosdowski. Paul and Elizabeth had at least three children, maybe more and she had at least one by her previous marraige. Paul and Elizabeth died about 1872 and the children were orphaned. Later four of the children emigrated to Chicago and many years later some of the families began using the name Page.

One of Paul and Elizabeth's sons, John Pajewski, my g-grandfather married Anna Gainowski in 1893. And the photo above is their wedding photo.

Theirs is an extremely complicated story and you'll need to explore Our Pajewski/Page Family Family web pages to sort this out and to understand the origins of our Pajewski/Page Family family. We'll do this through family charts, letters, maps, photos, records and family recollections. And then all these pieces are brought together in The Pajewski/Page Family Story.

Paul and Anna Pajewski's children and grandchildren married into a number of other families such as the Grotske, Jordan, and Ulrich families and Our Pajewski/Page Family web pages provides some information about these families also.

Your primary author and webmaster for Our Pajewski/Page Family web pages is Dave Jordan, a gg-grandson of Paul and Anna Pajewski of West Prussia. Dave's been researching his Pajewski/Page line since 1975.
